The most important turning-point in my entire life

Aug 24th, 2007 by Paul Moor

“HERR CHARLES PAUL MOOR, GEBOREN [undsoweiter], HAT MIT DEM ZEITPUNKT DER AUSHÄNDIGUNG DIESER URKUNDE DIE DEUTSCHE STAATSANGEHÖRIGKEIT DURCH EINBÜRGERUNG ERWORBEN.”

“HERR CHARLES PAUL MOOR, BORN [etcetera], HAS UPON RECEIPT OF THIS CERTIFICATE RECEIVED CITIZENSHIP OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY THROUGH NATURALIZATION.”

[Understandably, this event - yesterday morning - has temporarily distracted me from absolutely everything else, but I trust I can get back to Dorothy Parker, Marlene Dietrich, et al., as soon as my inner emotional turbulence subsides and I at least begin to get really accustomed to this pivotal development in my long and already fairly turbulent life....]
