Hersh: Dubya "has accepted ethnic cleansing"

Sep 28th, 2007 by Paul Moor

Seymour Hersh, for years now the world’s champion investigative reporter who’s wound up in recent years at The New Yorker, has given a scorching interview to our first-rate newsmagazine Der Spiegel.

Hersh became famous almost ovemight when he single-handedly broke the story of the My Lai atrocity – the cold-blooded massacre of Vietnamese civilians by American troops – and ever since he has consistently led the way in telling the story of what really goes on in Iraq and Iran.

Der Spiegel invited him to speak his mind about the Bush administration’s latterday Hitler substitutes, “Bush’s Vietnam”, and how the American press has “failed the First Amendment” – and did he!
